Growing up.

I love being a mom. I love holding my boys and watching them grow up. I love seeing them learn new things and interact with each other. I love everything about it. Becoming a mom and wife was the best thing that has ever happened to me, it has changed my life for the better and really put life into perspective. The things that I used to think were so important just aren't anymore. I love knowing that my family is eternal and that I get to be with them forever. There is nothing more important to me than Matt and the boys. Yesterday was Bridger's first day of nursery and I was having a hard time with it. When Carter went into nursery I swear it was like I had a countdown of the weeks until he was going. Church is just so hard when you have a 15 month old that wants to talk, play, and the last thing they want to do is sit still and be quite. With Bridger I was excited, I was excited for him to be able to play with kids and I was excited that I would be able to stay in Relief Society for the whole class and would really be able to pay attention. But yesterday when I was getting Bridg dressed for church I got so emotional. He is my baby and shouldn't be old enough to be in nursery. Carter in primary and Bridg in nursery was making me feel so old and made me realize I really dont have a baby anymore. It was so sad. I hate how fast kids grow up and how hard it is to remember when they were so little you hold up there old clothes and are amazed that they are so tiny. I love seeing them grow up and I love the stages that they boys are at right now. I love all the stages I just feel like they are only little for so long and I want to cherish it and I feel like they are no longer these little kids. Carter is just like a mini teenager and Bridg just wants to be just like him. I wish they would stay my little boys. I dont know why I am feeling so sad about it lately but Carter has to remind me everyday that he doesnt need my help with things cause he is growing up and Bridg just is a little man. I love my boys! This post probably makes no sense but I am just feeling like they are growing up so fast and I dont think I am ready for it.

Sorry I have been out of commission this last semester. It has been a busy one. I decided I was going to go back to school full time by doing online classes and it has been Matts last semester and so with that on top of Matt working and me being the mom I haven't really had the time and then when I did I wasn't in the mood. My friend just posted a post and talked a little about the pressure to be perfect and how sometimes in the blogging world it is hard not to compare ourselves. Well that is the exact reason why I haven't blogged in a while because this semester I have really not been at the top of my game in the mothering, wifey, homemaker, visiting teacher, or really any part of my life. I have been doing a million things at a time and I have felt like I have been doing a little and slacking a little in each area. So when I have gotten on and looked at blogs and see the clean houses, happy clean children and these ladies that I admire that seem to have everything together I gave up on blogging tell I felt like I was ready to take the time to do it and not feel like I was neglecting the boys. So needless to say I have been in like a 4 month slump of feeling a little overwhelmed and not good enough. On a lighter note school is over now and I have had time to think about what is really important in life and what I need to do to keep me and my family happy.

We really have had some fun in this last semester. My brother got engaged, we had a way fun easter, had a lot of playdates with friends and I have hit zumba as much as I could.

I decided that I am going to start another blog I haven't put it all together yet. I started it a few months ago just as kinda a journal, but now I changed it and its going to be just a blog of things that I love and where I am going to be setting goals and I will talk about them. So I will post when I have it already but I am excited about it.

I am the luckiest girl ever! Matt is the best! I couldn't ask for a better guy! He works so hard to provide for our family and is always busy doing something! He is the best dad and I love the relationship that him and the boys have! They love their dad!! Matt seriously makes me a better and happier person! He is my best friend and I am so glad that he is mine for eternity!! Happy Valentines Day!! I hope you guys all have a great day!

Well since I havent't blogged in about a decade a lot has happened!!! It will take a few posts to catch up by I will start with Nov and Dec minus Christmas!

Plus it is going backwards in order of pics but at least your getting them!

In Dec I went on a cruise with this hottie (oh and the rest of my entire family minus the boys)

It was so much fun! A much needed vaca for me and Matty to have some quality time together. I was dreading leaving the boys but they did fab with Matts parents and we all had a fun week!

I cant even tell you how much fun it was to go with the whole family! It was seriously a once in a lifetime trip and I am so thankful for my grandparents for doing it for everyone. I seriously have the best most fun family out there! There was never a dull moment and we all had a total blast and made memories that will last forever!!

This is the whole Cahoon Clan that went on the cruise. The only ones missing from our entire family was the 3 great grandkids!

These two are best of friends!! They are the best brothers! I love having them so close. Carter is such a good big brother and is always making sure Bridg is taken care of and happy. You can already tell Bridger is trying to be like Carter he will copy little things he does, but I love how they are so different. I think when I found out I was having another boy I was just expecting him to be exactly like Carter. I love they each have their own little personality and great qualities. Bridger has been a lot more mellow than Carter was but he is starting to become more hyper and active.

Carter is getting so big! I cant believe how fast he has grown up! He is so smart and makes me laugh all the time at the new things he is doing. He is such a crack up. I love him to pieces and love being his mom. He has the biggest heart! He always will come up to me and tell me that he loves me and hug and kiss me and then just hurry off to play like nothing happened!

He always tells me that I'm his best friend!!! will be sad when he becomes too cool to hug me and tell me he loves me. It better never happen!

Also in Nov this little guy turned 1!!! I cant believe he is one! He is so much fun. He is the best little guy ever. He has always slept so good and has been so much fun to raise. He is always happy and has the cutest dang dimples in the world. This kid will sit in the playroom by himself for hours if I would let him just keeping himself entertained. He loves balls and cars and is almost always holding one of them. He is walking around everywhere now and is just the best little guy a mom could ask for! He has added so much to our family and I seriously love everything about this little man.

Seriously he is the freakin cutest. I just love his big blue eyes and big o'l dimples. I just want to eat him up!!!

Well until my next christmas post! I will be updating a lot more often.. I just need to start taking more pics I am not very good at it! But we are doing great and loving life!!

This week Matt and I went for a drive up the mountains! It was so nice the colors are amazing and it was so nice just to have some time alone and doing something relaxing... We haven't really explored the mountains up here that much so I always miss Ephraim for that reason, but I loved the mountains up here! I love this time of year!! (just please hold out on the snow!!!)

Bridgers first hair cut

We finally did it! We cut Bridgers hair. I have been needing to for a while but didnt want to cause that means he is growing up. I feel like they look so old after a hair cut and I am trying to hold on to him being a baby. I am not ready for him to be 1 I want him to stay my baby! Well I had enough and couldnt take it anymore.. My neighbor is awesome and does such a good job and so I asked her if she would. She did such a good job. Bridg did good too. He sat so still (well as best as you can expect from an 11 months old.) He really did way good.

Bridger always has this look on his face. He isn't one that shows a lot of emotion. I love this face though! I think that this picture is the closest he has ever looked like Carter to me.

He looks all grown up now! Ready to be one I guess. I am holding on to the last 2 weeks!!!

Conference Crafting!

I always like to watch conference and spend the weekend with family, but this weekend we just stayed home and Matt worked Sat and Sun we just had a family day. It was a good weekend. On Saturday in between sessions my neighbor had a crafting party. It was so much fun. These are the crafts that I did. I think they turned out cute.

On Sunday in between sessions we were bored and wanted to get out and so we decided to go to the park and take some pics of the boys and let them play for a bit. Here are some of the pics we took. I am just getting into taking pictures and editing them myself so for those of you professionals don't critique. I also took pics of my good friend Emily and her son Rayden this weekend and it was so much fun and I think they turned out way good.

It was such a good weekend and we were glad that Matt had the day off to hang out!!!

Lately we have just been hanging out. We have been trying to enjoy the last bit of warmth and gearing up for our winter hibernation. Bridger is getting so big. I can't believe that he is going to be 11 months old in just a few days. I am not ready for him to be 1! He is starting to feel less and less like my little baby. Carter however is starting to think that since he is getting bigger he can be a little more tough with him. He thinks that he is being so nice and loving by giving him loves he just doesnt understand why Bridg gets so mad... I feel bad for Bridger but Carter really is a great big bro.

Bridger is starting to climb. He didnt get in this position by himself but I know it wont be long. He is climbing over anything that gets in his way to get back to the toy room. I seriously love this kid. It just kills me how he is so content on being by himself. Ever since he was a baby he would cry until you put him down and just loves being alone and not being bothered. Carter is the total opposite. He always wants attention and someone always has to be with him for him to do something. Bridger has started just crawling back to the toy room and he will just go in there and play with the toys. It cracks me up. He just loves to hang out...

Carter has started playing soccer. I am the coach... The team is called "crush". Carter is loving it. He doesnt always know what he is supposed to be doing and it is more caotic then anything a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds fighting and chasing the ball. Its hillarious but Carter just loves it and is always asking if there is soccer today. He wants to bring his soccer ball with us everywhere. Its fun. I am so excited to see him start playing other sports too.

As for me and Matt. We both got new callings in our ward. Matt is the Secertary in the Sunday School Presidency and I am the Activity Days Leader. I am so excited to get to be with the girls!! Matt is extra busy with school and work but there is an end in sight. He graduates in May and then I guess we will see where life takes us. But for now we are just enjoying our life up here in Logan! We have such good friends and neighbors we really couldnt ask for more..
Well thats about it... Were boring but we love it!!

I cant imagine losing everything or having to be evacuated and not knowing what I was coming home to. I just loved this picture though...

We took the boys the other day to mess around and take some pictures. We didn't do very many but I think the ones we did get turned out pretty cute. Were going to try and get some more of them together soon. These boys are the best. I am so glad I am their mom. They teach me so much everyday and seriously make me so happy. I love them to pieces.

Carter is such a stud. I can't believe that he is already 3. He is so much fun and full of energy but has also got a little attitude on him. He knows what he wants and keeps me busy and entertained. He is always surprising me with new things that he is talking about. Yesterday I was just playing around with him and put on some safety glasses he got at a party and he turned to me and told me "Mom your a mad scientist" I was like what? How do you even know what that is. He is a lot of fun...

He is such a good big brother. He is always looking out for Bridger, and Bridg loves him. No one can get him laughing better than Carter and anytime that Carter is talking to him he has the biggest smile on his face. I can't wait to watch these two grow up together...
Bridg is growing like crazy. He had his 9 mon check up a few weeks ago and was 20 lbs. I couldn't believe it... He is such a tank but we love it... He is the sweetest baby. He seriously is like an angel child. He is on the best schedule and I feel like he brings the sweetest spirit into our house. He is the best natured baby. He can entertain himself and loves to play and follow his big brother. He is crawling now and I can't believe how fast he is getting. Carter likes to escape and always leaves the front door open and right when the door opens Bridg is taking off full speed towards the door trying to follow Carter. I dont know what I will do when they are both running from me. He loves to eat! There hasnt been a food that I have given him so far that he hasnt liked. He wasnt the biggest fan or rice cereal but as long as it is mixed with something he is good.. I love Bridgers big blue eyes and I just love his cheeks and everything about him..

As for me and Matt we are just doing the same. Matt starts school back up soon and were me and the boys aren't excited cause that means he really won't ever be home. He is such a champ and works so hard for us. We love him so much for it and are thankful everyday that I get to stay home and raise my boys cause there is nothing else I would rather be doing...

We had such an eventful day! First we did Bridgers blessing in the morning. Then we all went to Toy Story 3, then back for a BBQ and then had Carters birthday party. It was so much fun and one of the best days of my life. I will always remember what a fun day it was and a lot of our family being together. It was the best day!!
It was mine and Carters birthday! It was such a fun day!!! These pictures are kinda out of order but we had a Toy Story birthday party for Carter. He loves Toy story so much and it turned out really good. He had so much fun and got really spoiled. Thanks to everyone who came and brought presents. We have such good friends and family it was so fun to have so many of them all together.

By the end of the day he was so worn out....

So we finally blessed Bridger. It took a while, but we finally did it. Right after he was born there was just so much going on so we said we would do it after winter and then with Matts job he was working most sundays so now we finally did it. It was such a good day! Matt gave a beautiful blessing and it was so nice to have our families there for support. It kinda worked out good blessing him when he was so old cause he couls pose good for the pics haha.. I think he looked so dang cute and I seriously love this boy so much, he has added so much to our family and I cant even imagine him not being part of it! He is such a good boy and is so clam and relaxed its awesome!!! He has the biggest blue eyes, and the cutest smile and dimples.... I just love him!

What to remember!

My cousin did a post like this a little bit ago and I loved it. I always think about the things my kids do that I love and how I hope I never forget how cute they are! haha So I am copying her and doing a post of the things I want to remember. The list goes on and on...

*how Carter comes and helps me do the dishes and says "Mom I'm getting the house ready."
*When Carter got to swimming lessons yesterday and just jumped right in and went totally under. The face expression when he came up was like thats not what I expected but I liked it.
*Before we moved Bridger into his own room and Carter felt left out at bedtime and would say that he wanted to sleep with "mom, daddy, bridgy"
*How Carter can make Bridger so happy when he is so mad and gets him to laugh the hardest out of anyone! And how anytime Bridger sees him he smiles so big and I know he is thinking "thats my big brother"
*Every kiss, hug, and cuddle I get from Carter a million times a day. and how whenever I am sad or crying (mainly from watching tv shows that I am just a baby about) he will just come up and say "mom sad" give me and hug and say "sorrcy mom, i love you"
*The open mouth kisses from Bridg and how whenever I pick him up in the morning or from a nap I get a big smile kicking legs and he pulls my hair on both sides with both hands and squels.
*Carters prayers and how he is constanly asking me to sing "I love to see the Temple."
*When Carter says "im hungry so bad" or "that makes mom so happy" or that makes mom so sad"
*How Bridger just smiling or cooing can calm carter down and make him be softer and in a better mood.
*the "what?", "cause". and "sures"
*how Carter just got back from his friends house and ran up and hugged my arm and said "i missed mom so bad", and "I make mom so happy" ha
*Carter singing twinkle twinkle, and "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, and how he always wants to drive past the temple but when he asks he says "mom i wanna see Jesus's house"
* how anytime me or matt leave we have to give Carter a hug, kiss, pound. and if we dont then he will run out as were pulling out to make sure we do it and say bye.

And my cousin said the best thing at the end!!!

Carter is so much fun! He is growing up so fast. He loves to play outside with all of his friends and loves to ride his bike and scotter. He is very active and still keeps me really busy but I love it. He is such a good big brother. He is always playing peek a boo with Bridg and is always making sure that he is happy. He is always singing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam", "twinkle twinke little star", and "I love to see the Temple". He makes us laugh constantly and always is having fun. He has started going outside in our yard and picking the dandilions and bringing them in to me and says "here mom it a flwshe for you." He is so loving and I always thought he would be really rough and he still can be but for the most part he is really nice and sweet. He always comes up to me and gives me a hug and kiss. I just love this kid!

Bridger is getting to such a fun stage. He has one tooth on the bottom and the other bottom one is ready to break through anyday. He is so smily and always is blabing and making sure we can hear him. He has started to eat solids and at first he wasnt sure how he felt about it but now he loves eating and is really starting to chunk up. At his 6 mo. check up he weighed 16 1/2 lbs and I took him in this last week and he was over 18 lbs. and that was only a month. So he has learned how to eat! He loves his big brother and always makes sure he is in his view and always laughs at him even when Carter is just sitting there. He has added so much to our family and we just love him!!!

I have a lot of catching up to do with my blog but since tomorrow is mothers day I thought that I would give a little shout out to our moms!!! We are so lucky to have such great moms that are such good grandmas to our boys! Carter always wants to go to "mama's house" and always loves to see them. We are thankful for all the love and support we have with both of our families. Thanks for everything you guys do for us!!! Your the best! We love ya!

I seriously love these kids!!! Lately we have just been hanging out, when the weather is nice we go to the park or play outside with our friends! I am getting really excited for the good weather to stay cause its been nice to get out and socialize. We live in such a good neighborhood and have so many fun and good friends!!! We are very lucky! But as mothers day is coming up I have been thinking how blessed I am to be a wife and mom and how much I love it! I dont think I could ask for better kids and a better husband who works so hard to support our family and make sure we have everything we need and want! Matt, Carter and Bridger are the best things that ever happened for me. They have seriously changed my life for the better and made me a better more loving person. I am so glad that I have them all in my life. I dont think anything could be more rewarding than being a mom. I love it so much! Everyday I just laugh so much because of my crazy boys! They are so awesome and I feel so blessed and so grateful to have them all in my life!!!

Spring is almost here and we are so excited!!! Carter is loving being able to be outside and playing ball and flying kites. Kites are his new obsession. He loves to fly them and its fun to watch him get so excited about it! He is still such a good big brother and so much fun to have around. He keeps us busy and keeps everyone entertained!

Bridger is four and a half months now and is such a good baby! He is so mellow and is always happy and smiling. He adds so much to our family and is getting so big! I hate how they grow up so fast. I feel like he should still be a little baby.

We were down visiting family and Kileys friend Torie came to take pictures of Jaden and so we got her to take one of the boys. They turned out pretty cute. They are so much fun!

So its three in the morning and I am up with a sick 4 month old :( could anything be worse? I don't think so unless maybe my two year old was also up sick. but I seriously hate seeing my baby being so helpless with a fever of 101.4 and a cough. Why I am holding him my arm is seriously on fire but I just want to sit here and cry cause there is nothing else I can do for him except sit here and love him! Luckily I already have his 4 month check up in the morning so I will be able to take him in first thing!!! As I have been up with him so many thoughts are racing through my mind. I have had so much on my mind lately and I just feel like I need to get it all out.

I don't think I could be luckier I have the best husband who works so hard EVERYDAY to support me and the boys so that I can stay home and be a mom. I also have the cutest 2 year old who couldn't be sweeter! I know those of you who sit by us in church are probably thinking that you could think of other words to describe him and a lot of the time I can too but he really is so sweet. I cant tell you how many times during the day he will just stop playing and run up to me and give me the biggest hug and kiss and say "I luba you mommy" and then he will just go right back to playing and then a second later he will come back in hug me again and say "Mommy nice" it seriously makes my day, and then when he is acting totally out of control and I am trying to punish him he will look up at me with those huge puppy dog eyes and say "mommy pweas be nice to cartey" and my heart just melts. I also have the cutest baby ever! He has the biggest blue eyes and the cutest dimples and is so smiley and has started laughing and making the baby noises and is so happy I just love it. When I was pregnant with Bridger I was worried that I would love him less than Carter or that we wouldn't have such a good bond as I do with Carter but it is so weird how your heart just fills up with more and more love everyday and just make room to love both your kids and your husband and everything just fits perfect and you just feel so close and have such good relationships! I love it.

I have also been thinking a lot about being a stay at home mom. I love it so much and I wouldn't trade my time that I have with the boys for anything but sometimes I feel like I want to get a job just to have some time out of the house and to help take some of the financial stress off of Matt. I have been thinking about it so much a lot of my friends have jobs and work and are still way good moms and wives and they all have houses and all of these things that I want to be able to help with. Me and Matt have been talking so much lately about how we feel like our lives have just been in this stand still for so long and we are still just not progressing and we feel like we should be farther on in life than we are. We talk all the time about when we have a house and its been getting overwhelming, but one of the things that I realized when Carter was born and was growing up was that I was always so excited for the next stage. I was so excited for him to smile and then to laugh, and sit, roll, crawl, walk etc. that I was forgetting to live in the moment and enjoy the time while it lasted. (of course I was enjoying the time but you get what I'm saying) When he would start to do all of those things I would look back and think he grew up so fast and I would want him to be my little baby again. I have been trying to enjoy every moment with Bridger and not wishing it all away and I think that is what Matt and I need to do now. Its not bad for us to talk about things we want in the future and to work towards those things. But we need to cherish this time we have together right now and live everyday to its fullest and just have fun with life! I know one day when we are older and have a house and our kids are growing we will look back on these days and want them back. Please don't get me wrong I love my life right now its not like I am in a depression and cant handle it I think I just have a hard time just being ok and living in the moment and that is what I am working on.

Lately I have been reminded so much about our Heavenly Fathers love he has for me and for all of his children. I feel so honored that Heavenly Father trusts me to raise his children. I feel so inadequate. There is so much to teach them and in today's world I think that is what scares me most. There are so many temptations and things that are influincing the world and it is so overwhelming to think about raising children and teaching them everything they need to know so that they make the right decisions and are happy. That is why I am so thankful that I know that I am not alone in doing this. I know that Heavenly Father is going to be there every step of the way and he will guide me and help me as long as I am living worthly and seeking his help. If there is one thing that I have been reminded of lately it is that Heavenly Father answers prayers and he does work miracles and knows what is best for all of us. I am so glad that we have such strong family relationships with both sides of our families and that we know that we can always count on them to love and support us.

Well this post has been long random and I will be surprised if anyone actually reads it but this was more for me than anything. I am going to get back to snuggling with Bridger :)

Really......Already......

I cant believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like just the other day I had Bridger and now he is already three months old. He is so much fun and i couldn't love him more. It is so much fun having two boys so close and seeing how mush Carter already loves his little bro. I am excited to see what the future holds for these boys. Matts sister Kiley also has a baby that is only 6 weeks younger than Bridger and it is so much fun to see them together!

I seriously love this picture. Not just because they are both asleep at the same time which is a rare occasion, but they are so much alike it is funny. They both have their blankets that they love. It is so funny to see that Bridger has already found his blanket. its cute whenever he feels it he grabs it with both hands and brings it up and rubs in by his face to fall asleep. It is so cute. I seriously love these boys and am so glad that I get to be their mom!

These pictures are so out of order but they are pictures and I am updating so I am proud of myself. The boys are doing good. Bridger is smiling and cooing all the time and is such a cute boy. We love him so much. Carter is such a good big brother and always wants to help mom with anything that deals with "baby Bridgy". He is already very protective of him and I think it is so cute. Carter has been a little sick and got croup so we took him to the doctor to get a breathing treatment. He loved it. He had to taken the mask home and he is always asking to wear it. Bridger also got the croup from Carter but they are both getting over it right now so hopefully it doesnt get worse.

Carter is so cute. Whenever Bridger is crying he will snap his fingers and click his tough and try and get him to be happy. I love these pictures of Bridger crying and Carter trying to help.

Having two kids has been an adjustment but were loving it. These boys are so fun to watch together and I am so excited to see what the future holds for us.!!

This year has been a big one for our family! We have loved every minute of it. We have had a lot of experiences that we may not have never had. We moved to Connecticut for four months and were able to go to New York, Boston, Rhode Island. It was awesone. We drove clear across the country to get to Conn. I really learned how to rely on the Lord while I was in Connecticut and so far away from our families. The best part of the year has been having our 2nd son Bridger and making our family a family of four.
Here are just some of the things were thankful for this year!
1. Having Bridger and extending our family into four.
2. Having a good job and a nice place to live.
3. Having such good families on both sides
4. Being healthy and happy

So ever since Bridger has been born Carter has been so good with him. He has never hit or hurt Bridger and he is so sweet with him. I love it. But he is kinda getting a little jelous he will ask me to put Bridger in his swing and to hold him. Every once in a while Carter will pull a stunt like this up above and act like he wants to be the baby. But when we see him and he sees us looking at him he will hurry and act normal and just start laughing. Its funny. Also he has started wanting to be a big boy also. I dont think he can make up his mind on what he wants. ha. I think he will just do anything that gets a rise out of us. I was doing the dishes the other day and he told me he needed to go poop. So I told him to go on his potty then. A few min later he started telling me it hurt.. haha(sorry graphic i konw but i thought it was funny) I told him just to keep going. When I came into the living room I found him like this. It was so funny. I guess it took a lot out of him.. ha ps don't ask me why he always wants to move his toilet into the living room. I try and take him in the bathroom and he just picks the toilet up and comes out here. He tells us he wants us all to watch. (again with the attention thing)

Bridger is getting so big. He is so much fun. He is starting to smile now and make all his little noises and coos. I love it. He is sleeping pretty good. The most he makes up is two times. He is eating very good. He loves eating. He is such a good addition to our family and I can't imagine him not being part of our family.

I was trying to get a picture of him smiling but I didnt quite get it. This is the end of the smile but I still think its cute. He has the cutest dimples. I love them... He also has the biggest blue eyes. I just love this kid!
He loves just hanging out. He is such a stud. He only really cries if he is hungry (which actually is alot but its easy to take care of) I love having two boys and I am so excited for our future and seeing these boys grow together.

Today is my moms birthday!!! So I thought I would give her a shout out and let her know how awesome she is!! She is the best mom! Since I have had Bridger she has saved me! She came and stayed for a week after he was born and cooked all the meals did all the laundry, cleaned my house and took care of the kids. She even kept Bridger during the night and just brought him to me to feed! She was a lifesaver. She is still been helping me out since she went home I call her everyday most days freaking out cause I am so stressed and overwhelmed (ps its getting better ha) and she always knows just what to say to calm me down or make me feel like I am a good mom. I was so glad she got to be at the hospital with me when I had Bridger! It meant so much to me since she couldnt be there with Carter and it was so important to me that she was there this time! But anyways thanks mom for everthing you have done for me and for being the best mom ever and the best friend ever! I love you! Happy Birthday!

I cant believe that this little guy is a month old already!!! Its crazy how fast time goes after your not pregnant. ha. Bridger is the cutest thing ever. He is such a good baby and I am so glad that we get to have him! Carter is the best big brother. He is always so concerned for Bridger and making sure the "Bridgy" is always happy. I love seeing Carter with him and it is the best part about being a mom! I love these boys and am so glad that I am the one who gets to be their mom!

This time of year i always feel so overwhelmed with blessings! I can't believe how lucky I am. I have the best husband who works so hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home and be a mom. I don't know how I would handle leaving these two everyday. He also works so hard in school. He never complains about having to go to school or work even though I know it has got to be hard! I have the best family! My mom has been my lifesaver since I had Bridger! She is the best mom ever she would do anything for me and i am so thankful for her! Then I have the best inlaws! They are always doing things for us and have helped out a lot with our boys too!

I love being a mom and wife and am so glad that I have the boys I do!

First off I never posted about Matt's birthday!!!! On the 3rd Matt turned 25!! I can't even tell you how much I love Matt! He is such a good father and husband! He works so hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home and be a mom!!! I am so thankful for that! I never need to worry about us being taken care of cause I know he will always take care of us!!! Happy Birthday and thanks for everything you do for us!

Now we have our two boys!!! I seriously couldn't be happier with these boys! They are the best!!!
Carter has adjusted so well to being a big brother and is always wanting to check on Bridger and make sure that he is okay. He gets a little frustrated that Bridger sleeps so much and will stand by his bed and yell awake! awake! cause he wants Bridger to wake up and play with him! He gets so excited when he opens his eyes! And yesterday when I took Bridger to get his billi levels checked I took Carter with me and when he heard Bridger start crying Carter started getting mad at the nurse and telling her to "stop baby owies" He is already so protective of him and I love it!
Carter has also learned how to use Bridger! Last night Carter was in the tup and I stepped out of the bathroom to get his pj's and stuff and then Carter started yelling for me or matt. So Matt goes in there and Carter had gotten out of the tup and gone #2 but missed the toilet. Matt asked him what happened and Carter just looked and him and said "I dunno? Baby bridgy" haha he is already trying to get out of being in trouble and blaming things on Bridger!! ha but he is freaking cute!!! We were laughing so hard! I am so excited to see these guys grow up together and see what is in store for our lives!

It is so crazy to think that Bridger is already a week old!!!! He is seriously the best baby and has brought so much joy to our family!!! Carter is the best big brother and loves Bridger so much.. He calls him baby Bridgy which is cute for him to call him that but I don't want that to be his nick name from everyone just Carter... fyi! Its cute for him to call him that but not really for a boy to be called Bridgy forever! So this post might get a little boring and long but I want to write it all down so I don't forget it!
On Nov 3rd I finally had a doctors appointment I was really excited cause I had been having contractions for about 9 days seriously not bh contractions these ones were painful and I was uncomfortable, but when I went to the hopsital they would just send me home. Luckily at my appointment the doc decided to do a stress test on the baby and the results were that he wasn't under stress but i was having contractions every 3 min! (hello that is what I had been telling people for over a week! Im glad they believe me now.) So the doctor was like your in labor and kept me!!! It was really exciting since the third was Matts birthday and Carter was born on my birthday we were thinking how cool it would be for Bridger to be born on Matts. I was admitted to the hospital at 4:00p.m. and was given the epi soon after that.. which by the way I didnt have a epi with Carter and i didnt like it at all until the end i was thankful that i had it! I just don't like the feeling of not being in control and I seriously couldn't feel or move my legs. My mom and Matt had to keep lifting my leg back on the bed cause it kept falling off and that bugged me!! By the time I was ready to have him it was a good thing I had one though! I don't think it would have gone as smoothly as it did with Carter. Anyways, I was dilated to a 8 and 80% efaced for what seemed like forever!!! at a quarter to midnight they decided to start some pitocin to help me finish. I had 2 STRONG contractions and then I knew I was ready! The doc was in doing a c section and so they called him. If he wasn't doing that c section the baby would have been born on Matts birthday but we had to wait a min for him. He finally got there at 12:05 and Bridger was born at 12:12!!! He weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. My mom was there which I was so thankful for since she wasn't able to be there when Carter was born it meant so much to me to have her be one of the first ones to see him! She stayed up for the week and helped out SO much with Carter and cleaning my house, doing laundry and cooking for us! I seriously don't know what I would have done without her! She is the best!!! Matts mom came up also and helped babysit me! ha i have been a little stressed about having two kids by myself when Matt is gone so it was so nice for them to help me out! Thanks so much!!!! We love you!

We are now a family of four!!! Bridger Dee Mason was born on Nov 4th at 12:12 a.m. just 13 minutes shy of sharing a birthday with Matt! He weighed 7lbs 13 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long!

Coming home!

Carter was so excited to see him! He is the cutest big brother! I can't wait to see them grow up together! I have a feeling we are going to have a lot of sport games in our future! The first thing Carter did after he held him was went and got him a ball! It was way cute!

So far he has been a really good baby and we are loving having him! He is so sweet and fits in perfectly!

Well i have been majorly slacking at blogging, but we havent been doing anything too exciting to blog about. Our lives have consisted of school, work, and getting things ready for this baby to come. Carter is just as cute and fun as ever and making us really wonder how its going to be when we have two little rugrats to take care of. But he loves talking about the baby and looking at all the baby stuff.

As for the baby. We still dont have a name for him! We really dont even have a lot of options so if you have any suggestions we are open to them! I went on monday for my 35 week appointment. The first due date they gave me was Nov 23. Then at my twenty week ultrasound and since about 15 weeks me and the baby have been measuring for Nov 10. my doc kept my due date the 23 but on monday i had an ultrasound and the baby was measuring 39 weeks and 6 days! With the estimate weight of 8 1/2 lbs already. i seriously think my due date is for sure the tenth and that i shouldnt go 5 more weeks. but the doctor said he wont start me for 3 weeks. so i am just a little annoyed since i am so uncomfortable and am in a lot of pain. I for sure want him to be healthy and that is most important but also they ran some tests on the baby testing the breathing and everything and he passed within 10 min. I know the weight can be off cause they told us carter was 7 lbs and he was only 6 lbs. but im just saying if i go three more weeks i will be having a big boy! And the doc said i will most likley have to have a c section since the baby is so big already which really bums me out! I really dont want a c section they have made a new rule in the hospital that no one under 14 years of age can visit at all not even siblings. and if anyone has been sick they cant either i know it is to keep the hospital germ free and the patients healthy but i just cant imagine not being able to see carter for that long!!! So we are hoping that i can just do it natrually!!!! But other than that we are just waiting for this big guy to get here!!!

Ok so i just need to know of this is only me or if during anyone elses second pregnancy they felt like a walking zombie!!! I am seriously loving being pregnant the little guy doesnt stop moving and its awesome... But i seriously think i could fall asleep anywhere.. I dont think i have ever been this tired!!! I dont know why its so much worse with this one. With Carter i worked full time until the day i had him and was still good to go when i got home from work. With this one i wake up make carter breakfast and turn on elmo just so i can snooze on the couch for 5 more min. I dont konw if it has something to do with my hyper active 2 year old that i am chasing around and whenever he sees my eyes close he thinks im playing a game and comes and jumps on me. Im not playing im sleeping dude go play in your room or better yet how bout you take a nap too! Honestly since we have been back from CT Carter has been so good he is on the best schedule and is just a normal two year old who wants to play outside, or with me but i am such a slump these days that i dont have the energy to play with him! I seriously hope that i get energy back soon!!!! I feel like i am slacking as a wife and mom! I still have so much to do to get ready for this baby to come and i just dont have the energy to finish any of it!!! ha well thats just what i have been doing lately! Nothing thinking of sleeping 24/7 and wishing i was a better mom and wife! Did anyone else get tired more with their second pregnancy? Please if you didnt just make me feel better haha!

Its official we are back in Utah! We arent officially in Logan and in our house yet. We stopped in Ephraim for a few days to see the fam. But it is so nice to be here!!! Since i didnt have internet in Connecticut i thought i would play a little catch up... We did a lot of fun things this summer!!!! We went to Rhode Island which i posted about and then we went to the beach a lot. My family was able to come out and visit us and when they came we went to Boston to a Red Sox game! It was so much fun. Me and Matt went to New York... I dont have any of those pictures that i can post yet though sorry. but New York was so cool it was just like you picture it from the movies... It was fun to live somewhere else for a while and for Matt to try a new job. It was a good summer but it was really long.... We are so ready to be home and to get back into normal lives and get everything ready for this baby to come!

Well i know this is way past but i wanted to post some pics of Carters birthday!
We didnt do a whole lot since matt worked all day but that night we had a little get together and that is why Carter is in his PJs for his party it was at 10:30 at night... But he still loved it!

Since we got here i have been horrible at updating and we really have been doing some way cool things... This post is all backwards picture wise but thats ok... A few weeks ago we went to Rhode Island with some friends out here! It was SO pretty! I loved it! It was so much fun! I am loving being here and seeing all of the things i never would have seen!

New places and big changes!

Sorry no pictures right now but i will hopefully get some up soon... But were tapping into someone elses internet and its to slow right now to load them all!! We made it to Connecticut!!! It is so pretty here! So far we are really liking it! Matt is doing good and me and Carter are having fun! I was a little worried about moving out of Utah cause i have always been so sheltered there. But i am really liking it here. I think the fact that i know i will be going home in four months is helping. But it is a big Change!!!! You will just be driving down the road and all the sudden your on a free way. its kinda intense. But i am really loving it!

Well i know most of you already know this but i decided to just put it out there anyways!!!!
WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!! Were really excited! and kinda overwhelmed with the thought of having two kids... But we know that Carter will be such a good big brother and are so excited to see the two of them grow up together!!! I am only 12 weeks along.. so we still have a while!!! But i am due the middle of November!!!

Well this will be my last post before we leave.. We are going to pick up Carter tomorrow afternoon and then will be staying the night in SLC with Matts cousin. Then we will be leaving Friday morning for our Summer in Conneticut. We have a 35 hour drive ahead of us so i am not really looking forward to that but we will be stopping for 2 nights hopefully making it there by Sunday! I am excited to be out there and for the summer but i am not excited for the drive with Carter and myself. (if anyone knows me they know i get car sick after being in the car for about 30 min.) So poor Matt will have to be dealing with us both! But bye to all our Logan friends and Family and i cant wait to see you all in Aug. We are going out there with our good friends John and Elise and then Matts sister and husband aka Johnny and Kiley so i am way excited to spend the summer with them!!! We are going to miss our families like CRAZY!!! But its only four months!!! Well tata for now i dont know when i will be updating again so just be patient but i will asap!!! Chow

Im just writing a little post to let everyone know i have officially done it!!! I have let Carter stay with the Grandmas!!!! I havent ever let him stay a night away and have been freaked out about it since the day he was born.. But since we are leaving for four months and the family wont be able to see him i thought that i would let him stay with each of them for a few days. Plus i have A TON to do to get ready to leave. But he has been gone now for 4 hours and im doing fine.. Matt is working tell 2 in the morning and i am hanging out at home by myself and watching the Jazz game.. My house is QUITE and LONELY but i am still ok!!! But I think i will be ready to get him back in a few day!!! We will see how the rest of the week goes!

So i have been thinking lately about how much I LOVE SUMMER!!!
I have been loving the weather so far and its making me even more excited!

first Sno of the Summer!!!!

Needless to say i cant wait for constant warm weather hanging out with Matt and Carter and finally being able to be outside again!!!!

So i didnt get very good easter pictures but Carter wouldnt stand still and wanted his toothbrush and sippy... So this is as good as it gets!!!

Carter had his first zoo experience and LOVED IT!!!

Thats about all that we have been up to lately.. I didnt update for a while cause as soon as Carter got out of the hospital he was still on oxygen for a few days and then as soon as he got off the oxygen he got the flu for another week.. So i really had nothing happy to post about and it would have probably been really depressing. Hopefully now that the weather is getting better we can do more so that i will have something to post!

Well the last week and a half have been quite eventful for us!! I spent Matts spring break in Ephraim with my family since Matt went to Vegas to sell. We had so much fun! On Saturday the 14th. my mom, me , aunt Lisa and Cort all got together for a girls day!! Cort is going to have her baby while we are gone and so it was good to get together since we havent in way to long.. We got massages and mani/pedi's it was so much fun and a very good day to realx! Well Carter got sick that night. He had a fever the night before but was good all day so i figured he was ok. On our drive back to Ephraim he got sick again.. So we ended up taking him to the ER when we got back to Logan... He had RSV!! I was so sad.. He had to go in the hospital on Monday..

It just broke my heart cause if you know Carter he doesnt EVER sit still!
So it was sad to see him so lifeless..
They had the cutest little hospital gown for kids.. It was so tiny but so sad that he was in a hospital gown.
He kept the oxygen in his nose which i was happy about i didnt think that would ever happen.

On tuesday he tried to fill better by sitting up but that is all we got! He just layed there most of the day watching movies.. But he was such a good boy! I was so proud of him!

He loves ice! He was in Heaven cause he just got to lay there and eat ice all day!

We finally got to bring him home with oxygen on Wed afternoon.. He was feeling a lot better but not totally breathing 100% yet.. He would just run as far as the oxygen would let him..

But even with the oxygen he was still such a happy boy!!
I love this kid!!! He is the BEST!!!

We had his follow up appointment today and i am glad to say he is totally off the oxygen and all better. yay!!! He was so funny when the doctor told him he was ok he said "YES!" it was dang cute... Since the oxygen has been off he has been running in circles all over the house non stop.. He seriously ran for an hour non stop... Im glad to see we have our little boy back!!!

So in my last post i told you how Brad turned 12.. Well for his birthday party my mom bought some of his friends, and us tickets to the jazz game... I personally think that was the best idea she could have for a birthday party! The boys loved it!!! It was cool we got there to watch warm-ups and the boys got to sit down on the court and watch the players.. They were sitting right where the players sit. The part i am most jelous about is that Kyle Korver came and signed all of there shirts and gave them all nucklles. Then he asked whos birthday it was and he turned to Brad and said Happy Birthday man... It was awesome.. The boys were lovnin it and i was loving him.. haha jk...

We took Carter this time and he LOVED IT!!! During warm ups he was glued to watching them... It was the cutest thing ever. Then he kept saying "its my ball" He really just wanted to get down and play with them and he would have if we werent holding him back. We bought him a little Williams jersey and it was the cutest thing ever.. Him and Uncle Brad have matching jerseys now!!!

After every basket was made Carter would start clapping and get so excited!

I thought this was so cute.. My mom taught Carter how to put his had over his heart during the National Anthem.. It was so cute he left it there the whole time!

Carter was loving the boys also. He sat with them most of the game cause i guess he is already embarrased to be at the game with him mom.. jk he loved hanging out with the big boys!!!
I am so glad that he loves Brad so much he is such a good uncle and nice to let him sit with him and his friends...

More with playing with the boys.. He is having fun with my cousin Spencer...
He loved him, and Spencer was so good with him!

During the 4th quarter he started getting tired.. During the whole game he was dancing to the music clapping and every guy they showed on the jumbotron He would wave to and blow them kisses.. Carter is such a good boy. The game didnt get over tell almost 11:30 and he didnt cry once.. Even when he was this tired as soon as the music came on he was back to dancing.. I dont know how we got blessed with the best natured little boy ever! He is a handful most of the time very entergetic and very outgoing and laid back but i would so much rather him be like that then boring and not want to do anything!!
Im so gald he is my son!

Yesterday Matt was running around cleaning out the car getting the oil changed and all that manly stuff... When he was on his way home he called and was telling me that he saw that there were some cricuts on sale... We were just talking about how cool it would be if i had one and all the things i could do with it! I have been wanting one FOREVER!!! but figured i would get one eventually but not now... So when he came home i was starting to cook dinner. He came in and talked for a while and then went out to the garage and brought in a cricut machine!!! I was so excited!!!! I was seriously jumping up and down!! I love Matt so much he is so thoughtful.. He knew i wanted one so bad and when he gave it to me he was just said you never get anything for yourself. So he bought it for me... I am so excited to do all sorts of crafts.. The second we were done with dinner we went to Micheaels and bought some vinal to do our first project..

We haven been talking about doing this since we got married and just never have found a sign or anything that we liked enough to do it.. So then we decided to do vinal up there so it was the first thing we wanted to do!!! I love it and think it turned out great!!

So now anyone who wants to do crafts we can anytime!! I am thinking we should have girl nights once a week or so! It would be so much fun!!

We went to Ephraim this weekend for lots of reasons... I had one friend getting married... One friend getting sealed. And then it was B-rads 12th birthday.... I cant believe that Brad is 12 he is getting so tall he is almost as tall as me.. And he is such a good kid. I am so excited that he is a Deacon. He is my little brother but i look up to him so much... Of course i had my purse with my camera in it all weekend and didnt snap one pic of friends, or Bradly.. But i did capture this..
As soon as the neighborhood little girls found out that Carter was in town they all wanted to come play.. So Sunday morning before church Kate, Callie, and Kaytee came to play with Carter.. It was so cute.. Carter was defintally showning off and flirting it up.. But they all were loving it... Here are just a few pics i snapped.. I know they are pretty much the same but i think they are all cute.!!!

It is so weird for me to see Kate with Carter cause i babysat Kate when she was younger than Carter and as she was growing up.. It is crazy that she is old enough to babysit my son.. She was so good with him and at church when he saw her he was climbing over the chairs to get to her...

Kaytee and Callie also brought over playdo and snacks and they all had such a good time!

I love these kids.. Carter had so much fun. I am excited to go stay a week in Ephraim so that they can come play again!

Date Night!

Last Thursday we had a really fun date night!!! Us, Johnny and Kiley, and Michael and Katelyn all went down to the Jazz game... On our way down we ate at Red Robin which dont ask me why but we had never eaten there.... We loved it!!!
Then we headed down the the Jazz game.... It was so much fun!
I got a Kyle Korver jersey which i was pretty excited about!

And they were handing out these sweet jazz sweat band thingys so we had to get a pic with them on... The game was so awesome... They were playing the Celtics and it was the best game! So intense...

And we got to see him!!

Thanks to Chad and Emily for tending Carter for us!! You guys are the best!!!

Ok so i am really lame and was just reading on ABC's website about the bachelor and i found like this site where people go and talk about the show and whats going to happen... Anyways... everyone was talking about this RS guy (i found out that stands for Reality Steve..) anyhoo so i went to his website... And he is giving his opinion on what he "knows" happens at the finale and the after the rose ceremonys.. i am totally annoyed now and so if anyone wants to be as lame as me and read up about this thing... You should check out www.realitysteve.com but im not promising that you wont be disapointed.... Needless to say if this guy really knows whats happening and this is it i am not a happy camper... (but i wont say what he is predicting just in case some of you want everything to be a surprise.)

I dont know about anyone else but i LOVE the Bachelor!!! I have watched religiously since high school!!! And still love it!!! When Jason was on the Bachelorette I liked him so when he was the new bachelor you know i was tuning in.... Anyways.... I thought i would give you my thoughts on the show... I love Melissa!!! Valentines Day!!!

This year was the best valentines day ever!!! It all started on Friday when
i came home to these amazing flowers, and a hilarious card!... Daiseys are my favorite and Matt did a good job there... Then that night we had a little get together with Michael and Katelyn, And Matts cousins Ryan and Julie and Mark and Jennie.. I of course didnt bring a camera but we had a lot of fun playing rockband all night and just talking...

Then Saturday morning Carter let us sleep in tell almost 10!!! Whohoo
Then we got up and made a good breaskfast and decided to take Carter out to play in the snow..
He loved it!!! It was a ton of fun... But he wouldnt let us put gloves on him so it didnt last too long because i wouldnt let his fingers fall off.. He wasnt happy about coming back inside..
Then we went a did a little shopping before Matt had to go to work!!!

It was such a fun day!!! I am glad that we at least got to spend the morning together since Matty had to work... Carter looks really onery in the picture of me and him he was really mad that i was taking time to take his picture when he could be in the snow... He is so much fun!!!

So tonight i had enrichment and so Matt had Carter! They had a
daddy son night and went to the Utah State game. Matt bought them both
new shirts so they could represent! Matt was telling me stories about it when he
got home... Carter was loving the game.. He started out by stealing the guys m&m's that was sitting in from of them.. He would tap on his shoulder and then when he would turn around
Carter would stick out his hand... Then there were girls sitting kinda buy them with dates and
Carter was flirting away with them... In fact.. He sat with them the whole 2nd half... He was loven it! Then he stole someones binnoculars so he could see the game better... And Matt said after every basket was made Carter would throw his hands up and start clapping and yelling! He is our little sports boy! I swear this kid lives for sports.. All we do all day is shoot hoops or play baseball... He is actually REALLY good too... Its adorable!!!!
In other words.. I have the worlds cutest son and best husband!!
Carter has the best Dad!!!

When they got home they both enjoyed a BIG bowl of cereal before bed!!!

Blog Problems!

So most of you have probably noticed that ever since i got back from our Christams vacation, i have had no desire to blog... Well i really even havent been on the computer at all!!! I havent been even looking at other peoples blogs.. Well i am trying to get back in the groove! I have to still admit i am making myself do this i am still not really in the mood but oh well i will get back soon i think... I think one of the reasons i haven't been in the mood is because the one day that i was actually in the mood i changed my background and it deleted all my friends blogs!!! I was so annoyed and wasn't about to take all the time to look up peoples blogs cause i really don't know anyones blog sites... And i feel like i haven't had time for anything! Carter is everywhere and such a handful that when he is sleeping its the only time i have to clean or have time to myself and i didn't want to spend that time typing in blogs... Well today i have ignored Carter all morning and got my blog some what back together... It still has a long ways to go... I only could get blog site of people who have left comments and the friends that were on there blogs also.. So if you notice that your name is not on my friends list please leave it for me! Thanks... I will try and be better about updating and actually take sometime to get this thing back so it will actually be somewhat entertaining for you guys to look at!!! Where has time gone?

My baby boy is 18 months!!!! I cant even believe it!!!
He went to Nursrey on Sunday for the first time and loved it! It was like he didnt even care when i took him to drop him off he just started playing and didnt even realize i left...
If any of you know me you know how worried i have been for this day.. Dont get me wrong i was totally excited but i just kept thinking that he was going to have such a hard time and he would just cry and miss me so much.... HE DIDINT!!! I kinda felt jipped a little im not going to lie.. I even was the worried mom and went and checked on him 3 times. (yay never i never thought that i would be that mom!!!) still didnt notice i was gone.. He was just having a good time.. I am glad that he likes it but i wish he would miss me a little.... haha... anyways when i went to pick him up he was still playing and so i said "Carter!" (yes i said it all excited like i hadnt seen him in weeks..) He turned to me and was like "OH" thats all i got.. oh then he showed me his picture that he colored. He was so excited that he was such a BIG BOY! I am glad that he likes it and i dont think that i will be so worried next week...
Anyways so this post is going to be LONG! I thought i would share some pictures of Carter reflecting on the last 18 months of his life.... (If you havent noticed i am having a hard time believing that i have a kid that old) these pictures are in no particular order...

We had every intention of doing Christmas cards this year!
But we havent so consider this yours!!!

This year has been awesome!!! Carter has brought so much happiness
into our lives... It is hard to emagine what are lives would be like without him...
He is the funnest kid its so cool to see how he fits perfectly into our lives..
He is so much like me and Matt.. (we still dont know if thats a good thing)
But he is so laid back and is such an easy kid to entertain..
He is so sweet and really is the happiest kid!!!
We love him so much and are glad that hes ours...

Matt is going to Utah State and has 3 more semesters left!!!
He's majoring in Graphic Design and is so good at it.. He is doing
awesome in school and is working hard to provide for our family!!
Hes such a good dad and Carter just follows him everywhere coping his every move
it is so cute!

I am at home with Carter... Still deciding what i want to do in life
besides being a mom... I love being here with Carter and will hopefully be starting some
online classes at the beginning of the year.!!! YAY!!!
As of now i just chase Carter everywhere and clean up his messes...
But i am loving every minute of it.. He is the best thing that ever
happened to me... I am so thankful for him and Matt and for everything
Matt does for us so that i can be home with Carter!!!

Well that is pretty much the sum up of our year... We moved to Logan and are
loving it up here... So many places to go shopping.... I love it...
We just wish we were closer to all our family and friends!!!

So we had a little scare the other day...
I was holding Carter trying to get him to sleep. I was
rubbing his stomach and all the sudden i felt this huge lump.
so i looked at it and started freaking out.
I called the doctor that second and got him an appointment.
I know i am a little dramatic but i think you all would do the same
if it was your child...
Anyways they x rayed it and we are still waiting for the results.
But we are pretty sure it is just his rib!!

Ok so this is the funniest thing ever!
The thing on Carters head is actually his easter basket.
He has started putting it on top of his head and then he will
headbut you!. Its hilarious.
He actually started doing it all by himself although in the movie

I totally loved this movie.. All along I have been wondering how they
can make this book into a movie.. And I was thinking that it was going
to not even be close to the book.. But i thought that they did an awesome
job! I thought that Bella was perfect and when i first saw who they
casted as Edward i was disapointed.. Not anymore.. I thought he
did a really good job!! I still have to say that the book is better just
cause they had to leave so much out for the movie..
I thought that they got most of the important stuff though!

So today marked the one year mark for Brandon on his mission!!!
I am so proud of him and the work that he is doing!

How long did you date? Who really knows... We dated off and on in high School... For about 3 or 4 months before he left on his mission and then about 4 months after his mish and then got engaged and married 3 months later... you do the math?

Been a while!

Well i have been thinking that my blog is struggling I need a more exciting life so that i have something to blog about... But unless you want endless blogs on cleaning, laundry, cooking, changing diapers, and all the other wife and mommy duties i have nothing... Well this week i did get a calling in our ward.. I am on the enrichment committee.. I am personally super excited cause i think that its more my cup of tea then a teaching calling.. I am excited that i can do crafts, learn new recipes and everything else that comes with enrichment... I cant wait to do the crafts mainly so hopefully everybody else will want to do that also... Other than that and Matts birthday nothing really has been happening this week... But i just thought i would say hi and let everyone know we are still alive just lad VERY boring and routine lives...

I feel so bad cause he had to work all day and then has

Matt has to work tonight tell one in the morning.. I have no idea what
to do with myself!! So i am doing laundry! yay for Friday night Laundry!
Anyways i was taking the clothes out of the dryer and to the
couch so i could watch some reality TV why i was folding!
Well Carter had different plans, I came back to switch the loads and
this is what i found.. He had thrown his ball in there and gone in to get it!
He is so funny! At least i have him on this lonely Friday night to keep
me entertained!!

I am just realizing that in all the pictures i take of Carter he looks like a
homeless child!! I am so sorry. I promise he does look cute at one point during the day!
He just rubs his hair frizzy right after we put gel in it and now knows how
to take off his clothes.. and i get sick of fixing him all dang day!!!
So i am going to try harder and be a better mom and post some pics of
him when he is cute and ready!

New Bedding Set!

Well as most of you know i have been debating on which bedding set
i wanted.. I liked the one with the swirls but then i went to
bed bath and beyond to get it and the black was an ugly color of black..
And i did like the plaid one that Matt liked but i wanted to do our bedroom
a little different than plaids..
So we didnt go with either.. This was the one we decided on, and
it came today finally after two weeks of being on backorder and another
two weeks to get here.

I know the brown dressers dont really match but i was waiting until the
bedding set came to really start decorating our room!!!
Now i cant wait!!! I will post pics with the final project
but dont expect them anytime soon! If this is anything like Carters
room it will take a while!
And now that Carter is sleeping in a big boy bed we are re-doing his room too!!! Yay

That Carter was perfect!! And then was that all, that was fasy... im sorry but my labor was really easy!

Jim and Tallie!!! YAY It was so fun to see them..
We hung out most of the day and then after!
It was good to see them finally we are glad they haved
moved back and so we can get together more often!!!

First real haircut!

We thought that we should get Carters haircut
for the wedding so he didnt look like a
homeless boy! We have trimmed little pieces
here and there but this is the first time we have
actually taken him to get it cut!
He held still and wasnt jerking his head around but
he HATED it!

But everything was ok when he got the sucker at the end!

This weekend when we were down for Kileys wedding we
found out just how much
Carter loves Zoey he shares everything with her...
It is so cute! Here he is sharing his breakfast with her...

He also loves to brush his teeth.. He found his toothbrush and
toothpaste on the counter in the bathroom
and walked around brushing his teeth for about an
hour!!

Then he just decided it was the toothpaste he liked so he just
started sucking the toothpaste out!!

Then i guess he thought that Zoeys breath stunk so he
helped her too...

So Carter has learned how to put the
baseball on the tee and hit it off! Its so cute!
I cant believe how big he is getting and how much he
is learning.. He will get kick the ball
all over the house saying "kick kick"
although it sounds more like "dit dit"
but its still cute! In this picture he
just woke up from his nap so his hair is out of control!

It was fun for them to play why Landon was
here to visit from Colorado!

So i know that all the pictures i post are of
him asleep but i am sorry! I just think they are cute
and he falls to sleep in the most random places!
And maybe it has something to do with the fact
that he is being peaceful for once and so i
have to capture it cause when he is sleeping it is the
ONLY time that he is holding still and being clam!

Well now thanks to John and Elise i can start updating my blog again!!
Thanks guys!! Well lots has happened since i last posted anything!
The most major event has been that Carter wont sleep in his crib anymore!!
Not my choice!! He screams anytime he is in it! If you lay him in it
when he is dead asleep he will wake up as you lay him down and flip out!
So he has been sleeping on the futon mattress in our room..
We are looking for a bed for him but i just dont want him to be in a big bed
cause then i have to realize that he is growing up!!

I dont know what it is with Carter and our garage.. He loves to be in it!
When we just open the door to the garage to take the garbage out or
anything he jets into the garage as fast as he can!
He usually runs right to the scooter and tries to get on for a ride..
So Matt decided to put him up here! He loved it!!

Daddy's Boy!!!

So lately since Matt has been gone a lot more than he used to be, Carter
has really started to miss him... Every time he comes home Carter gets so
excited!!! No matter what Carter is doing when Matt gets home he runs to the door,
hoping for a scooter ride with dad.. He is all smiles once dad is home..

Carter and Cambree get along so good!
They are so fun! I am so glad that Carter has
cousins that are close to his age.
even if he is out numbered with girls.. haha
I know that it is only a matter of time until
Sydney joins in on the fun!!!
We are so glad that we live so close to them
and so the cousins can be such good friends!

This was so cute.. They would both take a drink at the same
time and then look at each other and then just bust up laughing!

I just wanted to say how much I love living in Logan!! We have the best ward! Every Sunday we have such a good lessons in Relief Society! Today the Bishop gave our lesson and it was on being steadfast and immovable and letting our light shine.. It was really what I needed to hear.. I think that I get so overwhelmed with getting things done during the week, like cleaning the house, laundry, grocery shopping and being a wife and mom that I forget to take time to even work on my testimony or even think of ways that I could be helping someone else.. It really made me think that I need to work harder on being a better example to others and just always having the light of Christ and so others want to be around me. I also was thinking about all the blessing that we have in our life.. We have great families and an awesome house, I have the best husband who goes to school and works so hard so that I can be with Carter!! I also have the best son who teaches me so much and always makes me happy! We also have great friends and family that are close and we have tons of fun with!! I just love life right now and am so thankful for all of my blessings!!!

I also wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Brandon!!! He is on his mission and turns 20 today!! I miss him like crazy but I know that he is loving his mission and working really hard.. He is such a stud and is really learning and growing alot!! He is the best example to me and Our family!!!

But that is all sorry its was so sentimental!I am just feeling really grateful today!

First Nap Over!!!

I was tending our friends kid (Kase) anyways the boys had
a bunch of fun.. then i had them sit with me and
watch cartoons for a min to get them to settle down
before lunch.. Well this was the out come i thought it was so cute!!

Our friends Klay and Lindsey, and there daughter Avrie came and visited
on Sat. It was so good to see them and how much Avrie has grown..

Family Camp out!!!

We went camping on Friday night just the 3 of us... It was so much fun!
We figured Carter had so much fun up Maple Canyon that he was ready for his first
camp out!!! When we pulled up to our camping area (since we are in Logan now
and cant just go throw a tent up like we do i Ephraim) this was the first thing
i saw!!! You've entered Bear Country!!! Wow that feels homey!!
What a way to welcome us to our new home...

Carter was lovin every moment of it!!

He even sat in HIS chair by the fire..

Tried roasting stuff since he saw us doing it!

Had to take one of just us!

He was so cute in the tent and slept like a log!!
I however DIDN"T!

When we first put the tent up he just went in and sat
there all happy!!!

He loved throwing rocks in the river with dad!!!
He had to have a rocks in each hand the whole time!

It turned out to be a fun family night..
But i am glad to be sleeping in my own bed now!!!

Maple Canyon

We went up to Maple Canyon on Monday!! It was so fun!
It was Carters first time going up the mountains when he could
really get down and dirty... And did he ever.. He is such a BOY!
The whole time he had a stick and a rock and was playing in the dirt..
It was so cute.. But he was so dirty.. I am so glad that we have a kid that
likes to be outdoors and loves to be busy! It is so fun!
I love his personality!! He is such a STUD!!!

So i am SO sick of my hair!!! I need a change and i dont mean a trim! I need to do something drastic.. It has been so long since i have done anything.. So i am taking requests, ideas, suggestions, etc... I am not opposed to any ideas exceot supper short or bald as Matt as already suggested those and its not happening.. Expecially since we have Kileys wedding pics coming up or i might just resort to that... Maybe after the wedding.. So Please help me!!! I have already thought about extensions, dying, cutting, bangs, i am so sick of being boring and blah... so i your peoples opinions!!! Thanks!!!
