It all started Friday night, we were over at Michael and Katelyn's for dinner, games
and the Jazz Game!!! Everything was going GREAT!!! We were having fun Carter and
Cambree were playing good. Then they decided to play on the stairs....
Carter can go up stairs but not down, and we don't really leave him
unattended by the stairs. We moved him a few times. But then....
He started going up.. He was on the third stair. Then all the sudden we hear
a big thud!!!
Carter fell down the stairs and hit his head so hard on the hard floor.
He cried for only a min and then had a big goose egg, but he wanted to get down and play so
he did.. He played all night and was having a lot of fun. After the jazz game we went home
and Carter fell asleep. Matt heard him whimpering and so he went in to check on him.. He had thrown up all over!!! So we brought him into our room and he continued to throw up.
We took him to the ER. They did a CT Scan and eveything looked good. Turns out
Carter got a severe concussion!!! I was heart broken.. We felt so bad..
Well now its Sunday night and he still isn't back to normal.. We think he has the flu
now... He is so somber and those of you who have spent 5 min. with Carter
know that he is the happiest and most hyper kid, well now he just sleeps or sits
still in your lap.. No smiles, laughs, or anything... Its so sad...
I hope he gets better soon cause it is killing me!! I feel so helpless..

All i know is that i am so glad that Carter is in my life.. This has been
such a wake up call for me that i need to spend a lot more time
playing and enjoying this stage that he is in.. I am so glad that i am him mom and that
I have Matt to help me and Carter. I dont know what i would do with out him...
I love our little family!

oh scary!!! I'm glad he is okay... next time you better just come with us camping, because there are NO safety hazards there... with the fire... and the marshmellow skewers... and the big rocks... hmmmm just kidding, but i'm glad he is alright!
That is so scary! I hate it when they get hurt or are sick. It's the worst. I hope he feels better soon!
Poor little guy! I hope he gets feeling better soon! I'm sure it's hard to feel so helpless but I'm sure he'll be back to normal soon!
J lynn was telling me about carter today and i was so sad! I just said to her i bet brittany's going crazy, i hope your doing okay and i hope Carter's doing better now, let us know!
